James Scobbie is an accomplished photographer, videographer and creative artist.

James is a graduate of Ryerson University receiving a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Photography. Other formal training includes certificates from George Brown College in Desktop Publishing and from Humber College in Audio / Video Arts.

In 1998 James created his own company, Raintree Photography, with a focus on dance photography. Recently, James included video production and post production to his services and incorporated Raintree Photography and Video Inc.

Recent accomplishments include the publication of two photo-art books, "From a Canoe" and the companion book, "From a Trail" and a ballet instructional book titled "Positions".
